Canterbury Bells

Straight from the craft box, these are our simply devine Canterbury Bell wings.  Measuring just 12 inches across the wing span and 9 inches in length (from tip to tail) these wings are both suitable for adults and children.  Made with deep purple & plum coloured material and lavished with glitter.

These wings can also be made ready to hang on walls, the simple touch to any little girls bedroom 🙂

Phlox

We’ve finally got round to uploading our gorgeous new pink/white wings that go by the name of Phlox. These wings are a bit different to any of the others we have created in the way that they have a third “inner” wing, which isn’t quite a wing. More of an outline, but beautifully pink and shimmery. Very girly.

This photo, hopefully shows the “inner”wing – But to be fair, our photography skills are nothing to sing and dance about, so these photos never do our wings justice unfortunately.

Glitter Gunk!

We are working on a new product. It’s a clear gunk with lashings of funky glitters. They can be used on the face, lips, eyes, arms….. Basically you can use this stuff where ever you like!

At the moment, we are working on standard colours, so you’ll be able to choose from the usual; Green, Purple, Red, Blue, Pink, Silver & Gold…. But if you want something a little “out of the norm” then why not request a few colours mixed together?

These will be priced at just £1 per tub!!!

The past few days have been a bit manic for The Candy Shop Girls, with orders galore and constant emailing clients about custom pieces it just seems like there aren’t enough hours in the day. We have, however, managed to squeeze in a few new Wing designs, which we’ll be showcasing on the blog over the next few weeks.

But for now, we start with the gorgeous, sultry Romana Wings.

Hand crafted out of the finest deep red coloured taffeta with matching ribbons, this is one set of wings that will definitely get people talking.

The wings measure 19 inches across [from shoulder to shoulder] and 18 inches from the tip of the wings, to the bottom. The taffeta ribbons measure 19 inches in length. They also feature a second “inner” set of wings in a crisp cream satin edged in a deep red colour. The edges on both sets of wings are gathered, to create the “moth-eaten” look. As worn by most forest faeries.

The Antennae are swirled, with a white star shape center piece.

As I’m sure you can tell, a lot of heart and soul have been put into these babies.

These wings are most definitely “one of a kind” and we will never produce the same wings again. So if you are interested in purchasing these wings, or want more information on them please contact us.
